CCHS Stugo 2011-2012

Stugo? It stands for Student Government, in the other states also known as Student Council, in Indonesia was popular by OSIS term. I mma tell a bit about my experince as Stugo member ;)

#August 16th - 2011

It was kinda shock when I was joining this class since I'm lacking of experience of being in school's committee; c'mon I just used to be a leader of English Club before. Lot of people (36 members) and hard to remember their name on my first days. Since I am a senior, I sat in the group of seniors on the very right side of the room. Stugo class is on 5th period on room 5105.

I met Rosa (The President of Senior Class), April (The Vice President of Senior Class), Clariza (The Senior Class' Representative), JR and Bob (he didn't come on my first attending).

We're talking about the spirit week. At first I just like "What The Hell?! Why do I need to drees up those away for a whole week?! I don't bring lot of clothes!" LMAO

Most of the time I remained silent. Often times Clariza and April tried to be nice and said "What do u guys think?" or "Do u have any ideas?". Upps Sorry Hell No, I have no idea at all about what was happening that time, I mean they're the way far and I just came today with all my lacking experience.

I even should go back to the Stugo Class during my lunch since we need to talk more about the Homecoming Dance with all senior members there.

#September 2nd - 2011

Fresmaen Inauguration + My first Assembly!!! Wohooo, it was a very looooooong Day!

I woke up at 2.30 a.m and slept at 23.00 p.m. I wore my white stugo shirt! Wohoo within my name printed in the back "RIDHO"

So today I should go to Stephanie's house around 3 a.m to get prepare for waking up our Frosh, Sergio, who is Stephie's cousin. So together with Peace, JR, Valeria, Keila, Suzzete and her twin, Stephie and her Mom we drove to Sergio's house. It took a year for Sergio's Mom to unlock his door while he was sleeping --" But we woke him up, Valeria slapped him with pork meat, LMAO cause it sounds "Plaaak". Sergio only wore his boxer, so we let him to get short but Hell No he was cheating by wearing Shirt, he should be what he was before, without taking a brush teeth and so. We "kidnaped" him and brought him back to Stpehie's house to make over him up! LMAO, he dressed up crazy like a sissy!

All the groups with each Frosh met at McDonald to take breakfast and we had plenty of fun time here! We're driving to school and didin't forget the "Banana Game" for the Frosh, ;p it was public humiliation for me, but who cares.

Since I brown slipped from 1st-3rd period for Assembly, so I helped preparing the assembly with others in the big gym. Really it was my first time and it was awesome! So in Assembly, the clubs and sports of this summer season will introduce their clubs and open the enrollment for new members. It was fun and unfortunately, we only can do 1 game in 2nd assembly. Apparantly, we had 4 games for each assembly that means we had 8 games! But since it's the way late so we canceled the game to save time. But no reason to ruin this event ;) And we should clean up back the gym and ready for next Period. I went to my 3rd Perid, People Leadership, since we still had about 15 minutes before it end ;D

1st Place at Class & 3rd Best at School

"Alhamdulillah !!! "...

It's the first word that come through my heart when school's committee announced the class rank, it's so unbelievable that I still get a chance not only to maintain my rank position at class but also to get in the 3-best-place at school.

What makes this so spectacular is it against my prediction before. As 2nd semester was flowing at the time, my rival Mia Andarina was really turn her mark on its ear. Ya, her scores were expanding rapidly that makes me so damn-afraid. No remedial even low scores in her score's history! How do I know? Because I list down every single score that I, Mia and Wilda got during the second semester. It is so uncommon for me to do such thing (list others' scores), but I do really am afraid of disappointing my parents.

What makes me so hopeless is a high gap of Math and Physic score between me and Mia, although there is enriching test for math but still it shows how bad I am. It probably happens because I was quite busy took care my student Exchange Program files, and participated on some competitions (English Speeches).

But again, Allah gives me a wonderful mercy for my last time before the flight to USA. I still get the 1st place within average score 92.23 (Damn it's high compare to my 1st semester's score : 89.73), even further I got the chance to join the 3-best-place at school (what makes me sad is my friend, Lalilatul Rizkah, the 1st-best-place Queen ever isn't get her annually achievement, she even doesn't get the 3-best-place, and not only me, but almost students felt shocked when the annoncement). And not only those, but in the end of my participation in English Club (when the class of XII begin, those who are seniors will be retired) I got double acievements of speech; 2nd Place of Erlangga Speech Contest and 1st Place of Dinas Pendidikan Riau Province (and school's committee announced it too in front of my mother)

"Ya Allah, you really give me unpaid bless never-endingly, let me become a good prayer all the time, and give me your bless of allowing me to go to USA if it's really your destiny..."

Some Hang-Out Places in Pekanbaru

Pekanbaru is a small clear-environment city. If you are looking Pekanbaru from the outside, yup, it's boring enough. And talking about hang-out places, you may be hopeless to find out. But NOT for me, this small city is homey, comfortable, and I love it. So, here I go, I will share you some of hanging-out places where you can spend a whole your day, you visit if you are outside visitors or just to make you know where you should be when you inned.

#1st - Ciputra Seraya Mall

CS for short, is one of the complete malls in Pekanbaru, and it's stated on Jalan Riau No. 58. This mall become so crowded on the weekend. It's bloated of teenagers almost of the time, why? Because as for me, this place was made for teenagers (I guess). This place is a perfect place if you want to hang out with your friends, watch movies in 21 cinema (located on the highest floor), sing songs at Queen Studio, buy shirts at LEVI's or 3Seconds, have a coffee break at J'CO, take a photo at M Studio or on the Photo Boxes outside 21 cinema, have a lunch at Pizza Hut, KFC, Solaria, Rice Bowl even the Food Court (on the floor bellow 21 cinema) with variety of cuisines. Sometimes, there are also some events held in this place, such a music show. So, if you are looking for hanging out place, this Mall is highly recommended. (y)

#2nd - Pis Burger

Sick of Mall atmospheric? You can come to this cozy place, located in Jalan Sumatera. This place is a hanging out place for (usually) "Anak Gaul" Pekanbaru. This place sells Sandwich, Burger and so on, and I guarantee those are DAMN delicious. And the good news is there are so many similar food places along jalan Sumatera that sells variety of foods and drinks in such omelet, fuit soup (Damn Fresh) and ect. This place is even cooler at night. So, come here, feel the fresh air with your "Gaul" friends and take that delicious burger!

#3rd - Waroeng Steak & Shake

Find a cheap delicious and awesome steak? This is the right place, the price rank between Rp 7000 until Rp 21000 (for the import steak). Waroeng Steak is lied on Jalan Gatot Subroto and serves original steak, sirloin, tenderloin, black pepper, beef steak, chicken steak and many more which are served in hotplate. COOL. This place is comfortable and also crowded by teenagers and couple on the night and weekend since the cheap price with the delicious foods and the fresh drinks. The Mocha Milkshake and Cappuccino Float are my favorites, they're yummy and it no lies!

#4th - Soeman H.S Library

Reading books in library? Sounds boring? Nope when you come to this place, this is the biggest library in Riau regional. After it had been refurbished by government, it becomes a cool modern-Riau-art-architecture 4-floor building within complete facilities such as Discussion Rooms (the Place where I often study together in doing homeworks), Cafe (that sold delicious foods for lunch and breakfast, but what I can say is those are quite expensive for me), Children Library, Internet Cafe (You should come on the early morning to get one seat here, and then you can browsing for FREE), WiFi, Meeting Room (usually for Event place), and many other cool facilities. Even you almost forget this is just a library!

#5th - SKA Mall

Hanging out is not only with your friends or boy/girlfriend right? Hanging out with your family may become an alternative to spend your free time besides tighten your relationship with your Dad and Mom, ;). Yup this is the right option where you can spend night with family. The main activity you've got to be here is SHOPPING, usually I come here with my family for monthly shopping, and I love this moment because we will have a dinner after that. Not only it, there are also some cozy places here such as J'Co, Solaria, A&W, Popeyes, BreadTalk, Papabunz, NAV (a karaoke palce for family) and many more. But a thing that really awesome is the city view on the rooftop when you park your car on the rooftop park. Damn, you can see entirely Pekanbaru from here, even at night, it will become so DAMN Beautiful, wanna try it? Come Here!

#6th - BREAKS Cafe

This is what I call a CAFE ! Damn this place is so awesome, modern, cozy, and elegant. The coffee and other drink are exceptionally delicious, and the price is appropriate with teenager's. Located on Jalan Sudirman, just open in Sudirman City Square, and by foot you can browse anything near this cafe such as Bank, Food Places, Shopping Boutique, Gallery and many more. O ya, there is also shisa in breaks cafe, similar way to enjoy tobacco in the different media, but I remind you that this is the same like you are smoking from cigarette which contains Nicotin and TAR, dangerous for your health dude. And what make this place is so special is the Italian atmosphere as the theme of this cafe. I even ever saw that there is the old school car parked here, cool!

#7th - MTQ & Taman Labuai

Where are the biggest events often takes place? The answer is here, at Jalan Sudirman near Simpang Tiga region. MTQ is a large area where the majestic Idrus Tintin buliding located, there are also some unknown unused buildings here. At the morning, this area is so fresh and many people have a jogging here from Parit Indah Street, Taman Labuai and MTQ Area. At afternoon, still this place is crowded by runner and also some boys who play football. While on the other hand, at night, this place is so match for a couple, but the bad thing is there are so many perverts here! But what can I say for sure is this place is always crowded at night, many food sellers sell their foodstuff especially, the most widely, roasted corn. Feel the night air under the night sky accompanied by the lined street lights and the atmosphere downtown, it is the romantic and also the coolest place at night. Even when there is an event here (usually there are almost 3 or more events that be held per month here). Come here anytime you want and take yourself care !

#8th - Car Free day Area

Are you a citizenship of Pekanbaru? or Do you ever go to Pekanbaru? Nope if you never join this weekly activity. Car Free day a.k.a CFD takes place on Jalan Diponegoro and Jalan Gajah Mada at Sunday morning. This event is so famous that all people from all social status, ages, man or woman are coming here. There are many activities that you can involve in here such as jogging with you friends or boy/girlfriend even your family, doing calisthenics that instructor-led, biking, playing football, or just seeing those for FREE. And often, government held a race walking activity and featured by awesome door-prizes such as Bike, TV even a motor cycle! This place also become a good hot spot for photos hunter, so prepare your camera well. And after doing training, it's for the best you have a breakfast, I recommend Buryam Jakarta for well since this place sells a yummy porridge and you can drink a bottle of ice tea, it's a perfect option for teenagers. Exercise, be sweat, have fun and have a good breakfast with your friends. So come here, change your outfit, refresh your mind and keep your body fit by leading healthy life style!

Saturday-12th February - The worst Meeting Ever

Feeling so nervous when Saturday was coming, because I didn't want to miss my meeting of extracurricular for the 4th times! I'm afraid that if the meeting was canceled again, it would impect to my juniors and so will seniors. But I had prepared anything a week before, the matter (about "Recount Text") which I made in PowerPoint, exercise papers and also the information about valentine day. Even I've planed to use Multimedia room, so not only be comfortable but also it would gave a new atmosphere in my meeting.

Everything sounds good, until I realized that the Multimedia room had been used by school's committee and another extracurricular. I felt confused, but I didn't give up hope, with Adli (my best friend) I went to the cafeteria to talk to ma'am Valin, we begged her to let us to use her room, but useless, she couldn't because she had another appointment.

5 minutes left before the rang, I still in chaos in finding a place, but a fortune came up to me, the Multimedia room was unused, so I moved with dispatch to use it, but the most unpredictable problem appear, there was no "infocus" in that room, I'm quite shocked since I sure that I saw the infocus 2 days ago. Otherwise I needed it to present my matter. And another is the room was extremely dirty with the rest of food (nuts and bananas) and drinks.

Ok, forgot about it, I would present it by myself (w/o PowerPoint). And the ball rang, Mia (my club mate) announced about the meeting in Multimedia room. 3 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes passed, but I just saw 5 juniors (then 1 excused to leave because she had a course, 2 came very late) and 6 seniors who came to our meeting.

I felt really disappointed, even Sarah (my secretary) always mocking at me with that FUCK situation. I just wanted to give up, bu Hey! What was I thinking about! I'm the leader; I had to take a responsibility at all cost. So I just started the meeting poorly, I even looked stupid when I told the matter, even it sounds relly boring!

Since it was impossible to give them the exercise papers, I turned to the game section; we played "Truth or Dare". So Echa (my club mates) start turning the bottle. And out of the blue, the door was opened and I saw the teacher (whom I hate the most). This Ms. Nur**** (DAMN!) then asked to me "What the hell is this?" "Why you are here?". I was shocked and directly talked to do negotiation with her, I said "Hmm.. Ma'am may I use this room, I promise to clean it",
She replied "Oh NO I can't, I want to lock this room",
Then I said "But ma'am let me lock this room and I would give it to Pak De then"
She responded “Still NO, from now on, I am the one who has the right to hand this key", she continued "Ok, stop let you out and clean this room!"

Not only to go out and disperse, but she also ordered us to clean the rest of another club and school's committee in that room!!!
I looked at the face of my club members, I felt so ashamed to my members. All feelings; Angry, Sad, Disappointed, Ashamed, etc, mixed in my mind and heart! I really wanted to cry out loud! She even asked me "are you sick", I hardly said "Nn..no", but in my mind I surely said "Yes, I'm sick of you BITCH!!!

It was not finished yet, after cleaned the room, we tried to continue our game in my friend's class, but still I can't accept it, the game even more boring and unclear. Oh God! Why these all happened to me ;'( !!!

I (do) wanted to SCREAM! and run away from the fact that "I'M THE WORST LOSER LEADER EVER". I'm so sorry for my FUCK guidance :( I just want to do the best as hard as I could, but the fact was in the other hand. I realized that it might be true when you heard that "Man proposes, God disposes", no matter how well you tried but if God says "NO", it is all nonsense and bullshit :( !!!

Even though the meeting lasted an hour, but many sad things happen to me, even I was late to go to my Course. Otherwise I had a Periodic Test that time. Fortunately, it was not yet starting, but still, everything that had happened has made me unfocused in doing my test! I just resigned for everything.

:"( (even I still felt so sad when telling this experience, I just even hope that my club members never read this, because I don't want they know my feeling, I'm the leader who has to be strong in facing anything! Although the fact is I'm weak inside)

Have been long time no post huh? Ya I've been busy with these damn school's tests and other old activities, o ya from now on I start to re-active in my English course at LIA, since I've been postponed a term ago.

OK, this time I would like to share my best unforgettable experience I ever had :D

1st Chapter - The Gate's Opened

Let me start from the background. On March 2010, Ma'am Falin (my English teacher) said to me that there was a form of Student's Exchange Program from Bina Antarbudaya. At first, I totally surprised that time to hearing that kind of program. I forgot how many sheets that form consist of, but I guarantee it's quite complicating. I took that form, but I just got started to fill it 3 days before the dead line! haha. Then I collected my form within Rp 150.000,- (as postage and register fee).

On 9th May 2010, 49 students (including me) of my school , SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru and another schools in Pekanbaru took the 1st test. At 8 in the morning, all the candidates entered the hall to hear the speech of our principal. We got the "Tanda Peserta Ujian" (sign of candidates) paper, I had gotten number 213.

There were 3 kinds of test we took.

• General Knowledge Test (but I bet that was not "general" anymore!); In Bahasa
  

• English Multiple Choices (A lot easier); In English
  

• Personality Essay (The topics were really strange for me); In Bahasa
  

And the result was there were 18 students of my school and some candidates from another schools passed it. Alhamdulillah I am included as one of those 18.

2nd Chapter - AFS Gank ; The Second Family

I was feeling so proud when school's committee announced my name and another 17 candidates in front of all the school members at ceremony. But look, the second test was coming soon! From that time, Kak RP, Rizky Putra,(my senior, who is Bina Antarbudaya-Jenesys Program) and another kakak, often do the briefings for us.

But it's not at all, I honestly didn't know well all the others 17 candidates in spite of they are my school mates. From the first meeting, we decided to choose me as the leader (Gosh!). But what made it's unique is my initials is also RP! (same like Kak Rizky Putra who was become a leader in his year), ya I know it's just a coincidence.

The students and the parents started to make the budget funds, rent a bus, was booking a hotel, decided the communication fee & consumptions even made the attendance list -.-". O ya, one more thing was the license to principal since we would take the second test during the semester examinations, it means we had to undergo the supplementary exams.

At 9 o'clock in the evening of 11th June (when the opening ceremony of FIFA world cup 2010, holly crap, I didn't watch it!), we were ready to go to Padang (our chapter, since Pekanbaru is not yet be a chapter).

The journey from Pekanbaru to Padang took about 6 to 7 hours (I forgot how much it's exactly). O ya, besides us, the 17-candidate from SMAN 8 Pekanbaru, there was also our friend named Hafiz Oktri Putra from MAN 1 Pekanbaru, he was also one of us; the candidate who passed the first test.

Not many happened on that night besides Anjani and Widya who were capturing the photos of us who are down-on-our-luck, yup our horrible-sleeping face. These are what they had done, good job guys, keep it up !

Monday - 6th December - ESPY and JC Inaugurate

1st Chapter : An Unpredictable before the party

On 6th through 7th December, Language Club (ESPY & JC) held an extracurricular Inaugurate, an annually tradition of our club. Apparently, we had discussed and told about our plan to schools’ committee and also to each club supervisor since 4 months before (on August). They said, “It’s Ok”, that’s why we all as the seniors prepare for it. But unpredictably, on 5th December we’ve got news which told School was not giving us a permit to it.

What the Hell !!!

What make me so blue in the face was “Why they have to tell it a day before, since the catering had been paid and the authorization letter was successfully completed!”.
That was why, on 6th December, all the 11th grader tried wholeheartedly to convince the schools’ committee. They were me (leader of ESPY), Inok (leader of JC), Pija, Faiz, Fisda, Astri and many more. It was a much difficult when we had to against the Principal! Yea I know the reason was “The 1st Semester Examination is coming soon!”, but believe us we will never disturb the time to study, even we held it 3 days before the exam, and have discussed it since 4 months ago, and you said “Yes”, and the catering was already paid for Rp 1.800.000,-, and both of all the juniors and their parents have been agreed, AND YOU WANNA CANCEL IT.

What the Fu*k !!!

But Fortune never goes anywhere, because we successfully forced school with the main cause is Rp 1.800.000,- catering which previously paid, since it would be impossible if the school paid us to replace the fee. Oh Thanks God, Thanks guys for those of you who had struggle for it.

2nd Chapter : Let the Party’s Begin

Forget about Inaugurate working paper, now the time for the PARTY :D
Like if told to my juniors, they had to attend the school at 5 in the afternoon, no one could be tardy this time! O yea, just for the information, before inaugurate, all the juniors had to bring many unpredictable -strange-unusable -joke gadgets, such as “Name Tag” which made from 13 sides shape paper, Mineral Water which is Simpati Freedom brand (?) and many common more. LOL!

At 5 O’clock (+ rubber time), we finally gather to check the Juniors’ requirements, we trained them PBB (Pelatihan Baris-Berbaris) as the punishments, even we do Tori-Tori Dance that time, what a funny to instruct it. (I may post about the inaugurate requirements and also the video of Tori-Tori Dance next).

At 6 we took a rest, then prayed and had a dinner together. After it, we start to tell the “Ghost Stories”, huuu, I myself until now still be afraid about Siti Payung and Cindai rumor which spread among the school since a long time ago.
After that, all the juniors slept, while for the seniors who not-yet-be-Inaugurated get their Inaugurate time, LOL, some of them even crying, but no worried guys, that’s what I felt before.

Exactly at 12, the time for Junior’s Inaugurate was beginning. Three by three, we called the juniors, the procedures in that inaugurate were:
1. The team (consist of 3 or more or less juniors) had to woke up when we told so.
2. They had to buzzing around the school at midnight, from post to post which spread surrounded the school’s area.
3. To go to the next post, the team had to find a clue, and to get a clue there were many ways that seniors would do, start from made afraid, angry and others.
4. In a post, juniors would be blame for anything even they do nothing, LOL. In this year we had 8 posts, and for each post there were about 3 or more seniors.
5. In their “journey”, they would face some “ghosts” (both of The Imitation or The Real One).
6. Apparently, this annually program’s purpose were not to make juniors afraid, but it taught the juniors to be respect about seniority, to maintain and tighten the relationship not only among them but also relationship between the seniors and juniors, to inform them about the history of extracurricular and school, to train their mentality to be strong, because they were the one who would continue our extracurricular from time to time.

But out of a plan, the school became crowded because of the attendance of our alumna. I didn’t mean to angry or why, but swear I didn’t prepare it, start from the place, the snacks and the foods. So all the alumna also buzzing around the school, and you know, it made the juniors not afraid with the situation.

Huft, not only that, the problems also born from the our seniors (the 12th graders), our seniors get 1 post in the school’s mosque, and the problem was the time, most of groups got stuck there, that was why only 8 teams who pass until the 8th post.

But above all, the inauguration’s night still in control and I could say it’s almost succeed. I wanted to say thanks for all the participants.

3rd Chapter : The Declaration’s Time

The mabit (buzzing around the school at midnight) was end at 15 minutes past 4 in the morning. After that, the juniors back to their room to take a rest and prayed. While the seniors were extremely exhausted, LOL, we slept over and woke up at 15 minutes to 7.

I myself, go to the closet to change my shirt which had been wet with my own sweat. Then washed my face, but I forget to brushed my teeth. What a dirty. Yea at least, I was cleaner than some of my friends who even didn’t change their clothes.
Then, it was the time to read The Declaration of Language Club. This is that Declaration (which I made all so sudden in only 5 minutes -.-“ ) :
(I made it in Bahasa)

1. Kami Berjanji menjunjung tinggi rasa satu keastuan sebagai Klub Bahasa.
2. Kami berjanji menjunjung tinggi nama baik almamater Klub Bahasa.
3. Kami berjanji akan setia menjadi teman, sahabat dan saudara sesama Klub Bahasa.
4. Kami berjanji akan senantiasa menjaga dan mempertahankan nama baik, prestasi Klub Bahasa.

Then CONGRATULATIONS !!! Now you become the legal members of Language Club. :D

At 8, everything end but not with the rest; the rubbish we made, and you know? Only 8 people who cleaned it (Including me), while the other had gone.

Huh, but finally everything was totally end, I rode my motor cycle back to home, and took a full rest for entire day from 8 a.m. in the morning through 5 p.m. in the afternoon without taking a bath, eat even praying anymore !!! (Great)

What The Hell

Honestly, It's ashamed because I can't maintain a good reputation I've had, especially in physics, but if you ask me whether I'm understand or not of course YES I am , just because not carefully wrote (probably plus the sense of arrogant) and all ends with a score of 71.

Oh well, what can be done, regret? Yes a little, but all can not be repeated, that there was to be a lesson for me to keep the spirit of learning.
Remember to be a determined Person and keep the perseverance up (Go! Go! Fight)

Sebelumnya, kepala Luffy dihargai 30 juta berry setelah mengalahkan Arlong dan menjadi harga tertinggi di wilayah East Blue (nilai nominal untuk kriminal di East Blue adalah 10 juta berry). Kemudian dia meraih harga 100 juta berry untuk kepalanya setelah mengalahkan Crocodile, salah satu dari Sichibukai, dan naik menjadi 300 juta berry setelah peristiwa di Enies Lobby
Luffy mempunyai ciri khas tersendiri yaitu topi jerami (ini sebabnya dia dijuluki topi jerami) yang dia dapat saat masih kecil, dari bajak laut terkenal Shanks si rambut merah, celana pendek warna biru, sandal dan kemeja tanpa lengan berwarna merah,dan dia berambut hitam. Dia juga punya bekas luka di bawah mata kirinya yang ia buat sendiri untuk membuktikan bahwa ia sudah dewasa dan berani.
Luffy selalu menggunakan baju yang sama setiap saat, berbeda dengan Nami, Nico Robin, Sanji, bahkan Roronoa Zoro. Dia akan menggunakan baju yang berbeda untuk menyesuaikan diri dengan iklim dan cuaca (misalnya cuaca dingin di Drum Kingdom dan panas gurun di Alabasta), tapi akan kembali menggunakan baju asalnya setelah petualangannya berakhir. Fashion Luffy yang lain misalnya saat petualangan di Skypiea, Luffy membuka kancing bajunya dan mengenakan gelang. Saat pertarungan Davy Back Fight dengan kelompok Bajak Laut Foxy, Luffy mengenakan rambut Afro, sarung tinju, dan celana merah. Saat peristiwa di Enies Lobby, luffy mengenakan baju merah dan celana coklat.
Luffy adalah orang yang easy going dan sejak awal terlihat sama sekali tidak pintar.Sebagai seorang bajak laut Luffy bisa dikatakan sangat awam karena tidak mengetahui apapun tentang kompas dan ilmu kelautan. Selain itu dia tidak bisa berenang karena memakan Buah Gomu Gomu.
Kapten dari kelompok bajak laut topi jerami ini punya sikap yang bodoh dan konyol terhadap para anak buahnya, walaupun dia menganggap anak buahnya sebagai "seorang teman" daripada sebagai bawahan. Para anak buahnya seperti Sanji, Nami, dan Usopp kadangkala memukulinya karena kebodohan yang ia buat. Tetapi mereka sangat menghormatinya karena keteguhan hatinya sebagai seorang Kapten. Contohnya Roronoa Zoro, dia adalah teman terbaik Luffy dan yang paling mengerti Luffy (ketika peristiwa Usopp dan Aokiji) serta Robin adalah orang yang sama sekali tidak pernah mengejeknya ataupun memukulnya dan paling menghormatinya.
Luffy juga menjadi orang sumber masalah dan juga pencerah suasana di kapal. Kadang para kru direpotkan oleh ulahnya, karena ia suka bertindak seenaknya.
Luffy merasa harus memikul tanggung jawab seluruh anggota kelompok, tentunya sebagai kapten. Dia akan marah jika ada seseorang yang sampai menyakiti temannya. Misalnya dia bersumpah menghajar Crocodile karena sudah membuat Vivi menangis (walau secara tidak langsung). Setelah mengalami pertempuran dengan Aokiji, Luffy mulai merasa pentingnya melindungi sahabatnya, terlebih setelah Usopp meninggalkan kru. Ketika Robin diculik oleh CP9, Luffy dan yang lain berusaha untuk menyelamatkannya. Walaupun menjadikan World Government sebagai musuh mereka. Luffy sendiri mulai serius untuk melindungi sahabatnya, tergambar dalam jurus baru Luffy yang khusus untuk menghadapi musuhnya yang menculik Robin, Gear.
Luffy sama sekali tidak pernah membunuh musuhnya, karena bagi Luffy kehilangan harga diri karena dikalahkan akan lebih menyakitkan daripada merenggut nyawa.
Keluarga Luffy di penuhi misteri. Yang pertama diketahui dia adalah adik angkat dari Portgas D. Ace, komandan divisi 2 dari kelompok bajak laut shirohige. Kemudian di Water 7, dia bertemu kakeknya yang selama ini merawatnya, Monkey D. Garp. Dan anehnya, Garp sendiri adalah seorang laksamana madya legendaris dari angkatan laut. Disini juga diceritakan tentang kebenaran ayah Luffy. Sang Kriminal terburuk di dunia, revolusioner Dragon adalah ayah Luffy dengan nama lengkap Monkey D. Dragon. Tapi yang jelas, Luffy adalah salah satu penyandang nama D. di kisah ini, juga seluruh keluarganya. Setelah diselidiki oleh angkatan laut, pada saat Portgas D. Ace akan dieksekusi, diumumkan bahwa ayah-nya adalah Gold D. Roger dan ibunya Portgas D. Rouge.

RIWAYAT :
A. Luffy dan Shanks
Saat Garp pergi, Luffy kecil diasuh oleh Mayor Woop Slap dan Makino. Ketika Luffy masih kecil, dia bertemu kelompok bajak laut yang singgah di desanya. Kelompok bajak laut tersebut dipimpin oleh Shanks dan Luffy ingin sekali bergabung dengannya. Luffy menusuk bagian bawah matanya dengan pisau sebagai tanda bahwa ia mempunyai keberanian, tetapi Shanks tetap menolaknya. Setelah Luffy bertemu dengan Higuma, Luffy diculik oleh kawanan perompak gunung dan Luffy dibawanya ke laut. Shanks menolongnya walaupun harus kehilangan sebelah tangannya. Ternyata alasan Shanks menolak Luffy adalah karena dahsyatnya lautan. Kemudian Luffy berjanji akan melebihi Shanks dan menjadi raja bajak laut lalu Shanks memberikan topi jeraminya dan berkata:
" Kuberikan topi berhargaku ini padamu, kelak kau harus mengembalikannya padaku"
B. Buah Gomu Gomu
Ketika Luffy masih muda, dia secara tidak sengaja memakan Buah Iblis (di versi anime, dia memakannya asal-asalan dengan marah karena merajuk pada Shanks) yaitu Buah Gomu Gomu yang ia anggap adalah makanan penutup. Buah Gomu Gomu (Gomu berarti karet) adalah salah satu dari buah iblis yang menyebabkan tubuh pengguna menjadi melar layaknya karet dan bisa memanjangkan anggota tubuhnya. Selain itu, pengguna bisa kebal terhadap serangan fisik, bahkan peluru sekalipun dan menghantarkan listrik. Kelemahannya adalah benda tajam dan mungkin juga api.
Luffy menggunakan kekuatan Buah ini sebagai ciri bertarungnya yang khas, yaitu memanjangkan lengan untuk meninju atau memanjangkan kaki untuk menendang dan bisa menggembungkan tubuh untuk pertahanan diri. Luffy mempelajari struktur tubuhnya sangat dalam, sehingga mendapat banyak variasi dari jurus "gomu"nya. Terakhir, Luffy mempelajari keuntungan sebuah tubuh karet, dapat untuk memompa aliran darah dan mempercepat sistem transportasi energi, sehingga dia mendapat energi lebih banyak dari tubuhnya, dan tubuhnya juga mengeluarkan uap (ini dinamakan metode dopping). Gerakan ini dia namakan sebagai Gear Second. Kelebihan dari Gear Second adalah kecepatan dan kekuatan Luffy menjadi berkali-kali lipat dari sebelumnya, tetapi hanya untuk waktu yang singkat. Dengan kecepatan yang melebihi angin dan stimulan tenaga yang berlipat ganda, bahkan ara petarung super CP9 pun kewlahan menghadapi dirinya.
Luffy juga menemukan jurus yang lain yaitu Gear Third. Gear Third merupakan suatu teknik dengan memompakan udara ke dalam tulang karetnya sehingga akan membuat sebagian tubuhnya menjadi besar. Jurus ini berbeda dengan gomu-gomu no fusen yang hanya dapat menyimpan udara di dalam perutnya, udara yang disimpan dengan jurus ini dapat ditransferkan ke tangan dan kaki sehingga membuatnya bisa mengeluarkan semua jurus "gomu"nya dalam bentuk raksasa. Kelebihan dari Gear Third adalah kekuatan menjadi berkali-kali lipat melebihi kekuatan pada saat Gear Second, tetapi kekurangannya adalah kecepatannya menurun drastis. Selain itu, tubuh Luffy akan menyusut menjadi kecil setelah Gear Third selesai digunakan dan akan kembali beberapa saat setelah menggunakan Gear Third.

Holiday in Lovely Lintau

Been a long time no post since May 22nd !

I've been busy with The 1st semester Final Test, lol :D
Alhamdulillah the result is satisfying.

Apparently, many things which I'd like to post, but because it was gradually, everything had been dis-up-to-date, but sure I've make the list for those.

Now on, I'm on my lovely village, West Sumatra, Lintau exactly, there's a big event here, Custom Events of Minang, all family gathered there.

There was a story called ya, when I got here at around 9 (when Germany vs. Argentina has begun), my dad and other men was busy including me want to watch the World Cup, even though I rarely watch Ball match, but unexpectedly, in that house there was no broadcast by RCTI + Global!

No Signal!

So we were in a big worried that time, we are forced to seek around to find "layar tancep" and it took 30 minutes until the first round has ended !!!

*Damn !

Finally after getting an informal seat, I sat on the ground, really in the ground ! During the time between the commercial break to the 2nd round there is Question and Answer Quiz (just like Inter sport Quiz) there, so unique, all the audiences so talkative, but they were so funny, lol :D

And the 2nd round was begin, I opened Opera Mini while facebooking + SMS-ing with @Ujig (my friend who is Germany freaking), and I spent about Rp 2000 last night !

Crazy, I didn't expect that Argentina didn't serve against Germany which was playing patterned and targeted till 4-0 !!!! (Just like when against Australia in a Group elimination by winning 4-0 too).

But apparently, from the first Germany play so clean and great, against England which consist of seniors and won 4-1 ! CRAZY Germany always printed 4 goals in the last 3 games !!! I become optimistic although Germany will had to against the hardest Rival, SPAIN !!!

Kapal Nabi Nuh Ditemukan

Sisa-sisa perahu Nabi Nuh ditemukan di ketinggian 13 ribu kaki atau sekitar 3,9 kilometer di sebuah gunung di Turki. Hal tersebut diungkapkan para penjelajah evangelis.

Sekelompok penjelajah evangelis dari Turki dan Cina mengatakan mereka menemukan sisa-sisa kayu dari perahu Nabi Nuh di Gunung Ararat di sebelah timur Turki.

Kelompok penjelajah tersebut mendaku dari data karbon kayu tersebut menunjukkan berusia 4.800 tahun. Artinya, waktu tersebut sesuai dengan berlayarnya Perahu Nabi Nuh. Para evangelis dan sebagian peneliti sejak lama menduga Gunung Ararat sebagai tempat terakhir berlabuhnya perahu Nabi Nuh.

Yeung Wing-Cheung, anggota tim peneliti Kependetaan Internasional Masalah Perahu Nabi Nuh yang melakukan pencarian tersebut, mengatakan, "Itu bukan 100 persen bisa dinyatakan sebagai perahu Nabi Nuh. Tetapi kami rasa 99,9 persen itu merupakan perahu Nabi Nuh."

Dalam beberapa dekade ini, ada berbagai penemuan yang diklaim sebagai perahu Nabi Nuh. Yang paling terkenal adalah penemuan arkeolog Ron Wyatt pada 1987. Wyatt mengklaim menemukan sisa perahu Nabi Nuh di Ararat. Saat itu, pemerintah Turki secara resmi mengumumkan kawasan penemuan Wyatt sebagai taman nasional.

Namun, kaum evangelis bersikeras penemuan terbaru mereka di Gunung Ararat merupakan artefak yang sesungguhnya. Untuk mengkonfirmasikan itu, tim telah memanggil peneliti dari Belanda, Gerrit Aalten.

"Keutamaan dari penemuan ini adalah untuk pertama kali dalam sejarah penemuan perahu Nabi Nuh terdokumentasikan dengan baik dan diungkap ke khalayak di seantero dunia," ujar Aalten saat jumpa pers penemuan tersebut. "Ada banyak bukti-bukti akurat yang menunjukkan bahwa struktur yang ditemukan di Gunung Ararat di Turki bagian timur adalah perahu Nabi Nuh," ujar Aalten.

Perwakilan dari Kependetaan Internasional Masalah Perahu Nabi Nuh mengatakan struktur yang terkandung di beberapa bagian, beberapa balok kayu, diduga merupakan bagian dari perahu yang dipakai sebagai kandang bermacam hewan. Tim arkeolog evangelis juga menyatakan tidak mungkin ada permukiman di kawasan tersebut.

Anggota tim penjelajah, Panda Lee, mengatakan, "Pada Oktober 2008, saya memanjat gunung tersebut dengan tim dari Turki. Di ketinggian sekitar lebih dari 4.000 meter, saya melihat ada struktur bangunan yang terbuat dari papan seperti kayu gelondongan. Tiap papan memiliki ketebalan 8 inchi. Saya melihat tenons, bukti konstruksi kuno sebelum paku besi ditemukan."

Pejabat lokal akan meminta pemerintah pusat Turki mengajukan penemuan itu masuk dalam UNESCO WOrld Heritage agar situs tersebut bisa dilindungi seiring dengan penggalian arkeologi secara besar-besaran.

Menurut beberapa kitab suci, Tuhan memutuskan untuk membanjiri bumi dengan air setelah melihat kondisi dunia yang buruk. Tuhan lalu meminta Nuh untuk membangun sebuah perahu besar dan mengisi perahu tersebut dengan manusia dan hewan.

Menurut kitab suci, setelah banjir surut, perahu Nabi Nuh terdampar di sebuah gunung. Banyak orang menduga Gunung Ararat, titik tertinggi di kawasan tersebut, sebagai tempat labuhan terakhir perahu Nabi Nuh.

Sementara bagi agama kita, Islam, memang dinyatakan dalam Al-Qur'an bahwa Nabi Nuh membuat sebuah kapal besar untuk menyelamatkan diri dari bencab banjir besar. Anak dan istrnya tidak iku karena menganggap cerita banjir akan datang itu hanyalah tipuan dan kekonyolan saja. Oleh karena itu Nabi Nuh pergi dena membawa sepasang hewan-hewan kedalam kapalnya.

Anak 13 Tahun menjadi seorang Ayah !

Dunia digegerkan dengan kasus bocah 13 tahun yang menjadi ayah termuda karena pacarnya, Chantelle Stedman, usia 15 tahun hamil dan melahirkan bayi perempuan. Nama bocah 13 tahun itu Alfie Patten. Ketika kasusnya dimuat media massa dan membuat geger Inggris, muncul berbagai pro-kontra. Bahkan muncul cerita kalau ternyata, cewe Alfie ini, bukan hanya ditiduri oleh Alfie, tapi juga oleh laki-laki lain yg usianya juga masih remaja (belasan tahun).






Ketika Stedman hamil, usia Alfie masih 12 tahun. Kini usia bayinya yg diberi nama Maisie sudah 3 bulan. Selama itu kontroversi soal Alfie terus mengalir. Berbagai fakta bermunculan, termasuk soal cewenya yg playgirl, tidur dengan beberapa laki-laki. Di sisi lain, Alfie yg percaya bahwa dia adalah ayah Maisie, berusaha menjadi ayah yg bertanggung jawab, mengasuh bayinya dan berusaha memenuhi kebutuhan bayinya.






Tapi apa daya, dia tak memiliki uang. Maka Alfie yg masih bocah ini menangis karena tidak bisa beli susu buat bayinya. Menyedihkan sekali. Lalu, muncul pengakuan seorang remaja kalau dia pun pernah meniduri cewenya Alfi. Walhasil kegegeran bertambah, dan muncul desakan untuk tes DNA pada bayinya, untuk mengetahui benarkah bayi malang itu adalah anak Alfi atau dari laki-laki lain.

Alfie Patten, yang suaranya belum lagi pecah sebagaimana lazimnya bila seorang anak beranjak dewasa, mengakui belum tahu bagaimana ia dan kekasihnya akan mengurus putrinya, Maisie Rixane, yang lahir Senin.

Namun begitu, Patten berjanji akan menjadi ayah yang baik.

"Saya tak bisa berpikir apakah kami mampu mengurusnya. Saya betul-betul tak mendapat uang saku. Ayah saya kadang-kadang memberi saya 10 pound (sekitar Rp160.000)," ujar remaja setinggi 1,22 meter dari Eastbourne, Inggris selatan, itu kepada tabloid Sun, seperti dikutip AFP.

"Ketika ibu saya tahu, saya kira saya kan dimarahi. Saya tak tahu bagaimana rasanya menjadi ayah. Namun begitu, saya akan bersikap baik dan marawatnya."

Kasus ini mengundang tanggapan serius dari Perdana Menteri Gordon Brown, sebaliknya seorang pemimpin oposisi dari partai Konservatif, menyatakan masalah ini merupakan contoh dari kehancuran kehidupan sosial di Inggris.

"Saya tak tahu secara rinci kasus ini, namun tentu saja semua dari kita ingin menghindari kehamilan di kalangan remaja," kata Brown.


Namun demikian, Iain Duncan Smith, anggota parlemen senior dan mantan pemimpin Partai Konservatif, menyatakan kita perlu berbicara mengenai kehancuran keluarga di Inggris.

Polisi sebetulnya dapat bertindak atas seks usia dini ini, karena batas usia untuk hal ini di Inggris adalah 16 tahun, namun mereka menyatakan tak akan mengambil tindakan apa-apa.

Keluarga orang tua baru dan muda tersebut kabarnya juga mendukung mereka.

Ayah Patten, Dennis (45 tahun) dan putranya akan bertanggung jawab penuh atas peran barunya sebagai orang tua.

"Sebetulnya ia bisa saja menolak dan duduk tenang di rumah main playstation. Akan tetapi tidak, ia ada di rurmah sakit setiap hari," katanya.

Menurut laporan Sun, bayi tersebut, yang berbobot 3,27 kilogram, merupakan hasil hubungan tanpa alat kontraseptif pada suatu malam. Ia saat itu baru berusia 12 tahun.

HASIL TES DNA


Nyatanya terbukti. Hasil DNA menyebut, bayi itu bukan anak alfie!!Tapi hasil uji DNA ini dilarang diumumkan. Entah kenapa bisa bocor. Sebelumnya, Pengadilan memerintahkan agar pers tidak lagi memberitakan kasus ini dengan alasan undang-undang untuk anak di bawah umur. Sebab, pemberitaan kontroversi seputar kasus ini telah membuat Alfi juga pacarnya merasa tertekan.

Namun apa mau dikata, kasus ini seperti bola liar yg memunculkan banyak fakta bahwa remaja pacar Alfie ini telah tidur dengan banyak laki-laki. Setidaknya ada empat remaja pria mengaku telah meniduri Stedman, dan mengaku, kemungkinan merekalah ayah dari bayi Maisie 3 bulan.

Anehnya, Alfie menangis meraung-raung ketika diberi tahu bahwa dia bukanlah ayah dari bayi tersebut. Alfie yg telanjur sayang pada Maisie tidak mau menerima kalau bukan dia bapak kandungnya. Ia tetap berkeyakinan, Maisie adalah anaknya. Alfie dikatakan menjadi amat tertekan dengan pemberitaan pers yg terus menerus menyoroti kasusnya. Itu jg yg mendasari pengadilan untuk melarang pers kembali memberitakan kasus ini.

Cerita ini semakin menguatkan pernyataan bahwa Inggris merupakan negara di Eropa yg paling tinggi kasus kehamilan di kalangan remaja. Di negara Pangeran Charles ini, remaja-remaja di bawah 17 tahun, terpaksa menjadi ayah muda atau ibu muda, karena kurangnya pendidikan seks terhadap mereka.

ENAM REMAJA NGAKU TIDURI CHANTELLE

Richard Goodsell, 16 (Sebelah Kanan), maupun Tyler Barker, 14 tahun(Sebelah Kiri) yang tinggal dekat Stedmans di Eastbourne, East Sussex, dengan tegas mengatakan, merekalah ayah bayi itu. Diperkirakan masih ada enam lainnya yg mengaku telah meniduri Stedmans. Bisa jadi Stedmans pun bingung, yg mana sebenarnya ayah bayinya. “Selamat Hari Pendidikan !!!”
(Telat bgt ya ?) haha,..
Setiap tanggal 2 May kita selalu merayakan Hari Pendidikan. Walaupun perayaan ini tak semeriah perayaan Valentine Day atau Tahun baruan.
Memang pertamanya gw juga gak terlalu excited dan terlalu ambitious sama Hari Pendidikan ini. Tapi entah mengapa setelah melihat realita yang terjadi di Negara Indonesia kita ini, gw baru sadar bahwa Hari ini bukan hanya hari kebangkitan pendidikan kita tetapi juga hari pertanda sebagai tamparan buat kita sendiri.

Mengapa gw bilang hari ini sebagai tamparan buat kita ?
Jelas saja bahwa pendidikan Negara kita belumlah merata, gw pribadi bisa memaklumi itu, karena wilayah kita yang super luas dari Sabang sampai Merauke. Tapi apa yang gw lihat malah terbalik dari apa yang gw fikir selama ini. Bukan hanya di wilayah pedalaman dan wilayah Timur Indonesia, tetapi di wilayah perkotaan bahkan di pusat Negara kita sendiri gw melihat ketidakmerataan itu sendiri !!!
Bisa gw lihat banyak sekolahan megah berdiri di tengah kota dengan fasilitas yang super complete, tetapi tak sedikit pula sekolahan di wilayah yang sama, yang menurut gw tidak layak sebagai tempat menimba ilmu. Bandingkan dinding-dinding pembatas ruangan ini dengan triplek-triplek pembatas kelas yang berlubang di sana-sini nya yang bahkan suara dari kelas sebelah pun bisa terdengar dengan sangat jelas. Sehingga gw pun bertanya,
“Mengapa sesama sekolah Negeri di wilayah yang sama tetapi memiliki ketimpangan yang sangat jauh bebrbeda ?”

Lihatlah murid-murid dengan semangat belajar yang tinggi harus menggeser meja dan kursinya saat hujan turun, mengorbankan buku pelajarnnya sebagai peneduh dari rembesan hujan, dan mengorbankan sepatu-sepatu lusuhnya untuk terendam di genangan banjir.
Bagaimana bisa mereka mendapatkan haknya dengan baik ?
Bukankah mereka-mereka juga calon penerus bangsa ini ?
Bukankah mereka yang meneruskan teriakkan merdeka bangsa ini ?
Tetapi mengapa mereka tidak diberikan kesempatan yang layak ?
Mengapa cita-cita mereka untuk menjadi dokter, menjadi Pilot ataupun Presiden harus pudar hanya karena NASIB mereka yang tidak mujur ?
Apakah itu memang NASIB ?
Gw merasa bersyukur, karena gw lahir dan hidup di keluaraga yang serba berkecukupan ini, bayangin aja perbedaan keluaraga yang ngelahirin kita dapat membuat perbedaan yang sangat besar. Gak kebayang apabila gw tumbuh di dalam keluarga yang serba kekurangan dan lingkungan yang tidak baik pula, pasti gw tidak akan punya semangat belajar seperti saat ini.

Dan satu hal lagi yang menjadi fikiran yang selalu berputar di benak gw, “Guru”. Guru-guru yang dengan kesabaran nya mengabdi hanya untuk membagikan ilmunya barang sedikit saja kepada penerus bangsa ini. Pikirin betapa besarnya jasa mereka untuk kita, detik demi detik sangat berharga saat ia menerangkan pelajaran, kata demi katanya bagai berlian yang sangat disayangkan bila terlewati. Dan semua tahu, gak bakalan ada yang dapat membalas pengabdian mereka.
Tetapi Indonesia adalah Indonesia, seorang guru saja yang gw kenal, Pak Mahmud, seorang guru Matematika dan sekaligus seorang Kepala Sekolah disebuah sekolah menenga pertama negeri. Walaupun sudah mengajar dari tahun 1971 hingga saat ini, mengapa statusnya masih Honorer ? Bahkan gajinya tak mencukupi untuk membiayai pendidikan ketiga anaknya, sampai-sampai ia pun kini MEMULUNG hanya untuk menambah penghasilannya agar asap dapurnya tetap dapat terus mengepul. Pak Mahmud hanyalah satu dari sekian banyak Guru yang bernasib sama sepertinya.

Gw ngerti mengapa Pak Mahmud dan ribuan guru lainnya tidak merasa malu saat harus memulung ataupun mengajar dengan sarana dan prasarana yang kekurangan. Karena yang sepatutnya malu adalah para petinggi-petinggi Bangsa ini !!!
Mengapa mereka harus malu saat mengabdi, sedangkan para petinggi bangsa yang korupsi sekalipun tak merasa malu ? Kenapa suatu pihak yang berwajib menyalahkan pihak lainnya, dan pihak lainnya menyalhkan pihak lainnya, saat kewjiban mereka dipertanyakan ? Mengapa Pemerintah pusat menyalhakan otonomi Pemerintah daerah, dan Pemerintah daerah menyalahkan pihak lainnya perihal kelalaian mereka ?

Inilah satu lagi potret kelam Bangasa Indonesia, ditengah era globalisasi yang penuh teknologi ini, masih saja ada lubang-lubang yang baru terkuak saat semua sudah terlambat. Gw bukan petinggi Negara ini yang mungkin juga tidak bisa menyelesaikan masalah ini. Tapi anda-anda para petinggi Negara, bukankah anda-anda sekalian telah menyatakan sumpah janji demi Negara ini ?
Janganlah lagi membuat pertiwi menangis hanya karena KETAMAKAN kita, jangan lagi salahkan nasib mereka yang sudah ada, Gw tidak berhak untuk menyatakan siapa yang salah dan apa yang harus disalahakan, Instropeksi diri sendiri, kesalahan ada pada diri masing-masing. Melalui hari ini, gw berharap tulisan ini dapat menumbuhkan semangat baru dalam dunia pendidikan kita.

The Book of Eli adalah sebuah film dengan genre action, film yang disutradarai oleh Albert Hughes dan Allen Hughes ini pertama kali launching pada tanggal 15 Januari 2010, dan ternyata diawal launchingnya film The Book of Eli berhasil masuk kedalam jajaran Box Office USA tepatnya berada diposisi 2 dengan pendapatan sebesar $31,615,000. Sedangkan untuk posisi teratas masih ditempati film garapan James Cameron, Avatar.

Sinopsis film The Book of Eli ini berkisah seputar paska perang dan proses kehancuran dunia yang sudah kacau-balau. Dunia tinggal puing-puing belaka, gersang dan tandus. Pada masa ini manusia harus membangun kembali peradaban mulai dari nol. Ditengah-tengah kegersangan, ketandusan, kehancuran dan bencana yang melanda dunia, ada juga orang-orang yang berhasil selamat dari bencana itu. Salah satu dari mereka adalah Eli (Denzel Washington).

Di sini digambarkan bahwa hidup Eli berubah total dari seorang lelaki biasa, menjadi sosok pahlawan yang diburu-buru oleh orang-orang yang berniat jahat. Sama seperti kebanyakan orang lain, nasib Eli juga begitu, sama-sama kehilangan semua yang pernah dimilikinya. Eli menjadi manusia pengembara dari satu-tempat ke tempat lain mencari tempat penghidupan yang layak. Selama itu pula ia harus bisa mempertahankan hidupnya.

Suatu ketika Eli singgah disebuah kota yang dikuasai oleh Carnegie (Gary Oldman). Sebetulnya Eli ingin singgah hanya sebentar, cuma ingin mengisi baterai iPod-nya, namun tidak seperti diduganya iapun jadi tertahan di kota itu. Hal ini disebabkan karena Carnegie ingin memiliki sesuatu dari Eli. Banyak cerita yang mengatakan bahwa Eli membawa sebuah buku yang menjdi kunci untuk bisa mengembalikan dunia yang carut-marut oleh perang itu kembali ke dunia peradaban sebelumnya. Carnegie berusaha mendapatkan buku itu untuk kepentingannya dan usaha apa saja akan dilakukannya demi keinginannya itu.

Pemeran film ini adalah bintang-bintang/aktor ternama, sebut saja Denzel Washington yang merupakan aktor watak yang sudah memperoleh Oscar. Lawan mainnya yang menjadi musuh bebuyutannya adalah aktor Gary Oldman, aktor ini juga sudah kenyang dengan asam-garam kehidupan dunia akting.

Bocoran terbaru soal film yang saat ini juga ditunggu kehadirannya pada
tahun depan adalah ‘Iron Man 2’. Kabarnya, Tony Stark akan beraksi
dengan kostum baru untuk film garapan sutradara Jon Favreau.

Menurut
laporan Empire, Tony Stark yang diperankan oleh Robert Downey Jr. akan
meninggalkan kostum lamanya dalam film sekuelnya. Kostum terbarunya
Iron Man pun tampil lebih kekar.

Sementara pada kostum
pertamanya, kostum rancangan Mary Zophres itu lebih bersudut tajam,
perbedaan pun sangat terlihat pada pundaknya. Pundak manusia besi kali
ini mirip baju perang ala gladiator.

Dalam film yang akan
datang, Tony Stark yang muncul dengan kostum baru akan melawan Ivan
Vanko alias Whiplash. Karakter tersebut diperankan oleh actor ternama
Mickey Rourke. Rencananya film yang dibintangi oleh Starlett Johansson

yang diperankan oleh Robert Downey Jr. akan meninggalkan jubah perang
lawasnya di ‘Iron Man 2′. Kostum terbaru Iron Man pun tampak lebih
kekar.

Jika dibandingkan dengan kostum pertamanya, kostum rancangan Mary
Zophres itu lebih bersudut tajam. Perbedaan pun sangat terlihat pada

Andy akan masuk kuliah sehingga mainannya, termasuk Woody (Tom Hanks) dan Buzz (Tim Allen), akan diletakkan di loteng. Sebelum mereka bisa diletakkan di loteng, mereka tanpa sengaja dibuang dan diambil oleh tukang sampah.

Woddy dan teman-teman kemudian sampai ke sebuah pusat penitipan anak, disana lalu mereka harus mencoba bertahan hidup dari bermain-main. Lalu kecerobohan dari anak-anak pra-sekolah membuat Woody berpisah dengan teman-temannya.

Woody berusaha untuk menyelamatkan teman-temannya dan menemukan diri mereka di rumah baru, tetapi problem muncul karena Buzz tiba-tiba rusak sewaktu berusaha melarikan diri. Woddy mencoba untuk me-reset Buzz, tetapi akhirnya malah membuat dia kembali ke versi spanyol.

'Alice in Wonderland' menjadi film 3D yang berhasil mengalahkan rekor 'Avatar' di minggu pertamanya setelah dirilis. Dulu, sepekan setelah tayang, 'Avatar' hanya mampu meraup US$ 73 juta atau sekitar Rp 693 miliar.
